Step 3: Steeping Times
If you use the Asian method, the Pu-Erh tea should steep for 3 to 4 minutes before consumption. The tea leaves are steeped in increments of 10 seconds each. For example, the first steeping time is 10 seconds, while the second steeping time is 20 seconds. Typically, Western-style brewed Pu-Erh tea yields two to three servings, whereas the Asian method produces six to eight.
